Written By: Sue Grafton

Narrated By: Judy Kaye

Publisher: Random House (Audio)

Date: October 2005

Duration: 7 hours 44 minutes

Summary:

Elaine Boldt is missing, and her sister wants Kinsey Millhone to find her.
Seems like a routine job. Boldt was last seen lavishly draped in a $12,000 lynx coat heading for Boca Raton. She never got there. But someone else had, and was camping out illegally in Mrs. Boldt's abode. Now, things were beginning to seem a bit less routine - particularly when Kinsey is ordered to drop the investigation just as she discovers that days before Elaine Boldt "bolted," her next-door neighbor and bridge partner had been murdered. Unfortunately, the killer is still at large . . . and looking for Kinsey!

I love all the alphabet mysteries by Sue Grafton and Judy Kaye is a fantasic narrator, she keeps you in suspense!

If you like a good murder mystery, you can not go wrong with a Sue Grafton. Not one of her best, but still enjoyable.

  • Betsy

This was a good book. It made you want to hate Trevor because first he is like a stalker, but then you fall in love with him.

  • Lisa

Love these books. Can't get enough of the reader. She makes Kinsey come alive.

  • Ettie Goldy

This is a very well written, well read book. The story took several twists and turns so it was not predictable. Well worth the time to listen to.

  • Amanda Runnels

This is not my favorite Grafton book, but it was still fun to listen to. Just not all that interesting.

  • Michael Hilliard

Sue Grafton does it again. Great book have listened to three of her books and all excede expectations.

I felt this book was one of Sue Grafton's more fun Kinzey books. However, it was also slightly more predictable. As always, however, I enjoyed the story and stayed very entertained on my commute.

  • Nancy Smithson

This was the first time I've read Sue Grafton. She was entertaining - the only thing I can say is it was too short. Abr. version - I am looking forward to the rest.

Kinsey is relentless in this one. I love her character. This was a puzzle to the end. I really look forward to hearing the rest of the alphabet series.
