I don't normally read these types of romance novels but this book was so good. Rafe is running from the loss of his family and Maggie is running with her newborn baby from an abusive family member. Naturally they are both hesitant about getting involved with each other but Maggie more so than Rafe. The time is spent figuring out how to protect Maggie from her family and to keep her and her baby safe. The two have chemistry but because of the circumstances, it's not completely in your face. The book is full of love, laughs and drama. Really great read.
