Oh my fates….. First of all, the narrator nailed this reading!! Her engaging voice was so incredible to listen to. She put all of the proper emotions into the reading which made it that much more enjoyable to read along. I’ve never experienced so much tugging of my emotions from one book. There are soooo many questions that I hope will all be answered in book 3. This book so far is my favorite from the first one in the series. I love OUABH but this book is so much better. I love the storytelling the magic the description of the magic. Jacks and Evangeline’s tension is so raw!!! I know we’re supposed to hate Jacks but I mean…. How can you??? Book 3 better compensate for everything SG put me through. Can’t wait to finish reading their story in book 3.

I absolutely loved this series. incredible story.

I actually wasn’t going to read this book, but I hate not finishing series until the end (no matter how boring it is). Lucky for me, this was an office tv show situation where the later seasons are better than the first. I literally cried in the end! It was that good. I love Eva because she isn’t a badass . She is more light-hearted and a hopeless romantic. Yet, she is brave and despite all odds, she always makes it. I’ve always liked her. It was the lack of romance that made me want to not continue the series, but this book rectified that. This series is fantastical and fairytale and has a different new twist every couple chapters. I also like the narration a lot. Highly recommend and I can honestly say Eva is my new comfort character.
