Summary:

In the final volume of Anne Rice's deliciously tantalizing erotic trilogy, Beauty's adventures on the dark side of sexuality make her the bound captive of an Eastern Sultan and a prisoner in the exotic confines of his harem. As this voluptuous adult fairy tale moves toward conclusion, all of Beauty's encounters with the myriad variations of sexual fantasy are presented in a sensuous, rich prose that intensifies this exquisite rendition of Love's secret world and makes the Beauty series an incomparable study of erotica. In it, Anne Rice makes the forbidden side of passion a doorway into the hidden regions of the psyche and the heart.

Beauty's Release, is the end to Anne Rices' wonderful trilogy. It provides a depth and variety of characters who many a reader may identify. This graffic and sometimes shocking work of erotica only opens the imagination further to another world. One not to try I beleive, just to imagine! A fantastic read, you would want to keep around just to peek back into that other world, at your liesure!

Fantastic Read. It is immediately captivating and continues as such, just like the previous 2 books. This is not a fluffy Cinderella story, it is in all terms erotica. The feint of hart and 'Romance' readers probably won't see value in this book, or this series as it is too open minded and "dirty". I found it quite tastey. It leads the reader on in heated expectation. Read this series to your partner for some fun nights.

I prefer male to female erotica and this was mostly homosexual/lesbian sex, though it was well written and very sensual.

This book is an absolute waste of a selection. 95% of a disc space is occupied by descriptions of a violent homosexual rape. There is nothing beautiful about this "beauty".

This book is much less about erotica and more about degradation. The scenes that are erotic are short and contain an element of violence or mutilation in a disgusting way (such as the female circumcision). There are only rare elements of sensuality which are quickly overshadowed. I expected this book to contain more about sexual and sensual exploration but found it was about slavery, general degradation, violence, pain and misery. I don't know how many scenes about men being whipped I could stand to listen to.

Smut. I was expecting something similar to say Interview with a Vampire, but it's a long stretched out S&M "fantasy". Story?? I couldn't even listen to the whole thing. But hey if you're into kink, you may enjoy this.
