Everyone knows a couple like Jack and Grace. He has looks and wealth, she has charm and elegance. You might not want to like them, but you do.

You'd like to get to know Grace better. But it's difficult, because you realise Jack and Grace are never apart.

Some might call this true love. Others might ask why Grace never answers the phone. Or how she can never meet for coffee, even though she doesn't work. How she can cook such elaborate meals but remain so slim. And why there are bars on one of the bedroom windows.

"Behind Closed Doors gives us a glimpse into the realities of a "perfect marriage," with addictive and heart pounding moments guaranteed to have you looking at your friends and neighbours differently." Margaret Madden, Bleach House Library

I love books where women stand up for other women. I also like it when karma wins.

I was sad it ended. Narrator is very natural. Plot was surprising with no obvious foreshadowing. I just downloaded her second book. I’m hoping it’s as good as this was!

I was hooked from the beginning and wanted to keep driving just so I could listen. What a manipulative control freak, even to coming up with his name! A true statement on the fact that no one knows what a person is like until they live with them. I loved the thought-out plans created by the main character (that continually failed) and, especially, the twist at the end.

Having read The Breakdown, by the same author I was excited to begin this audiobook. I could not stop once I has started! Audiobooks are my treat for when I commute but I continued to listen to this one, long in to the night because it was so full of suspense . A gripping novel .

I expected some sort of abuse when I read the summary of the book, but it was nothing like I imagined. The story was well written and well told. Having been through something similar (but not quite to the same degree) I hated some of the characters and wished some would have done things differently. I found myself anxious and relieved and anxious again while listening. Well planned out and executed. Looking forward to the author's next endeavor.

Wow, what a book. I just finished listening and it's left me haunted. I've actually gone back and listened to certain parts again to review nuances not earlier heard and/or appreciated. It's disturbing and dark for sure, but the ending was worth the ride. It's got the same kind of vibe as "The Girl Before" which I've also read. If you like this style, I would recommend reading "The Good Girl".

This book drove me crazy at first, I was like, what? But when they started going back and forth, it really pulled me in, loved it!
