My family owes the Bellinis a debt. And I've come to learn quickly that their family motto is: 'Debts must always be paid.'
In this case, that means a life for a life. My life, to be exact.
I'm being served up on a silver platter, forced to marry a mafia man, sight unseen, shackled to the Bellinis forever. If I refuse... my father will pay the ultimate price.
Only once I reach the altar and lay eyes on my groom, I realize he's not a complete stranger. Not only have I met Enzo Bellini once before, but that brief encounter left me thinking about him for months.
But the man I got a glimpse of that night is seemingly nowhere to be seen. The flicker of a flirtatious spark has been doused, leaving him cold and callous toward me.
Until one night, he lets the mask slip, revealing that he's not only capable of compassion but allowing his protective side to shine through. And while his entire line of work is a direct contradiction to the oath I took to do no harm, I find myself wondering if there might be a way to make this disaster of a marriage work.
Bellini Bound is the second book in the Bellini Mafia series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone. However, the series is best read in consecutive order due to the interconnected mafia subplot.
The Bellini Mafia series is a spin-off of Goalie Goal from the Indy Speed Hockey series.
