The story was amazing. Predictable but worthy of listening. The twists were attractive enough. Nice book and quite funny. Do not make like they used to anymore.

Interesting suspense story. Somewhat predictable, unrealistic, and over-romanticised story, but still charming, funny, and exciting. a fun read. A product of it's time. If you like old books then you'll probably enjoy this one.

This is definitely an old love story, very well written. I liked the intrigue which definitely added to the story. If you like the old stories of gallant, strong men and delicate, fainting women that need to be cared for and protected, you will love this. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it. However, I am so glad that modern women no longer have to be weak, very fragile, and always demurring to men. I will stand side by side with my man and we will watch out for each other. Times have definitely changed. LOL

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audio book. I was also taken by the narrator‘s charming New York accent. A „Feel Good“ kind of Book that drew me into the twists and turns of the story and kept me attentive long past my bedtime.

Loved the story.. was invested right from the start. The narrator was…. Not great, distracting. The accent was awkward. Felt like a poor actor reading for a part.
