Abridged Audiobook
You should be aware that this is not a book but rather a recording of a seminar given by Dr Covey. Many of the topics he covered were also a part of The 8th Habit, including the accompanying videos. Even though I had previously listened to The 8th Habit this was still a good review of some of the topics. If you are inspired by Dr. Covey's writings you will enjoy this. The passion of his delivery make this enjoyable, but for a more in depth study I would recommend The 8th Habit.
Although the information provided was valuable, if you've read The 8th Habit, this is really just listening to a workshop which presents the ideas shared in The 8th Habit. The voice (kind of wheezy--sounded like he had been running) was very distracting. If you can get beyond the voice, there are a few tidbits you may be able to take from listening to the workshop.
I couldn't finish the audiobook. The presentation was distracting and the voice hard to listen to.
Excellent presentation on Principle Center Leadership. Great examples.
This audiobook is almost like an abridged version of the 8th Habit, except the 8th Habit is about 12 CDs. This is much less. However, Dr. Covey packs a lot of deep material into a small space. His profound insights can benefit any listener.
This book has the power to be life-changing. There is simple and yet profound wisdom here. The power of moral leadership and the paradox of winning by serving should not be foreign concepts in our "christian" society but it seems as though we have lost sight of these vital truths.
Standard Steven Covey read - detailed, inspiring, and motivational. I found it somewhat difficult get the full benefits of listening to this book in the car, I would rather be able to take notes so I could refer back. My chance of ever getting through the print book is minimal so anything I took from it was a PLUS.
Ok, but should be listened to months after the 7 Habits, not right after.
