Unabridged Audiobook
I easily became obsessed with this series during book 1—this installment is no exception. (Is it just me or does Monroe’s writing somehow just keep getting better?) I liked this because it manages to pack a dose of reality, unlike lots of tropey romances. This one is more like … plausible and just happens to hit the fun tropes. It’s also exciting for a variety of reasons, we’ve got unwanted attractions, smexual tension, lovable dogs, a stalker, a young woman entrepreneur, and also actively healing from her past trauma .. and more. What is not to love?! I did predict it, but this didn’t take away from the experience at all—this is a great world to get lost into or take along on workouts, housework, etc. to help pass the time. Trope hit / things to love:
