Stood up on my wedding day. I’m the bride-never-to-be. Just when I think I’ve hit rock bottom, I get stuck in a house with my billionaire enemy. Great.

 

I thought I had the perfect life. Gorgeous, loving fiancé who treats me like a princess? Check. Wedding of my dreams? Check. But instead of walking down the aisle to my groom, I was being questioned by police.

 

Turns out that Mr. Perfect is some international criminal mastermind and everything was a lie. Some time away from my newsworthy wedding drama is just what I need, and luckily my dad and brother have invited me to stay with them.

 

The only catch? My brother’s business partner and best friend is staying here too… and he just so happens to be my sworn enemy.

 

I wish it wasn’t so hard to ignore that excitement I feel when he’s around, or that one little promise he made me after our first meeting.

 

I can’t risk getting hurt again, especially not for the amusement of some rich jerk. But the tension between us feels like more than professional rivalry.

 

I admit that he’s a little handsome and the whole not-a-wanted-fugitive thing helps, but he’s always been a royal pain. I just have to survive this one visit and then I can go back to hating him. Right?
