Unabridged Audiobook
It goes on and on and on without anything happening and then it almost gets interesting and then is trite and forced and …ugh. It finally ended, that was the best part. The narrator sounds exactly the same for different characters so you can’t tell who the hell is talking. It was free but not worth it.
Great quick read! Big fan! I wish the narrator had been able to differentiate the character's voices a bit more among the women because they all sounded the same and I got a little confusing.
It was ok. Story kind of fell flat.
Not my fav. Good ending though.
It moved along pretty slowly for me. I listened to it on a slightly faster speed which helped get through it.
Great
Enjoyed this
I wish I could say this one was good, but it read more like a catty drama than a thriller. It wasn't until the last hour of the audiobook that we even got the thriller aspect of the story. The characters were all unlikeable, hard to keep track of at first, and incredibly bad decision makers. The pacing was off, and there was too much tell and not enough show. The reason behind everything was trite and superficial, and the ending was not very satisfying. ️
Very well written - I was engaged the entire time - great story on how friends can be deceiving!
Good story line but was hard to distinguish which character was speaking at times.
I called it
Slow burn book, but a good story.
Well paced thriller. Interesting plot. The narrator let the story down. She used the same "voice" and "pitch" and "tone" for each character so it was very difficult to know who was supposed to be speaking, as well as when the narrating character said something and then commented to herself on something, it was hard to know where the speaking stopped and her thoughts began - there was no difference in tone or voice, throughout.
