Solid listen. Connects a lot of dots.
One of the best books I had read thus far. When it comes to terrorism matters, readers often either know quite a bit or very little. This book bridges that gap and appeals to all. It takes a complicated subject and makes it both digestible and entertaining while remaining unbiased in its presentation. It is said that the purpose of studying history is to prevent repeating the same mistakes. Let's hope a critical lesson can be learned from this story.
An excellent overview of ISIS as well as the events and individuals involved in its rise.
