But she's never faced off against her own kind . . . until now. Denounced and shunned for dealing with demons and black magic, her best hope is life imprisonment-at worst, a forced lobotomy and genetic slavery. Only her enemies are strong enough to help her win her freedom, but trust comes hard when it hinges on the unscrupulous tycoon Trent Kalamack, the demon Algaliarept, and an ex-boyfriend turned thief.

It takes a witch to catch a witch, but survival bears a heavy price.

I really enjoyed this book, it had many twists and turns, I will listen to the other books in the series.

Black Magic Sanction was enjoyable but the whole series is more than a little formulaic. The plot is driven by the main character, Rachel Morgan, making the same mistakes over and over and OVER again. I was hoping she would have matured a bit more in this book, but I found myself rolling my eyes a lot.

Started out as if the main Character was going to get captured and beaten at every turn, but it really turned quickly into an action packed, magical adventure! Great work!
