Thoroughly enjoyed reading this after finishing the Empyrean series to date . Similar elements for sure but definitely carved out its own path . Some great characters and the slow burn was perfect . Can’t wait to start vows and ruins tonight .

I went into this series completely blind with no expectations. I am in love with this series and the characters. It’s now one of my top five favorite series. If you loved Fourth Wing and From Blood And Ash, you will love this as well. 10/10

I enjoyed this more than I expected. I didn’t get into it immediately but couldn’t put it down once I got half way. Excellent storyline and narrator

I enjoyed the bravery with Thea, good story held my interest but using the F word? So stupid and unneeded to the story. Why use cuss words?

Strong female characters and a good storyline. A few twists but easy to follow and listen to. Cannot wait to start the next book

I think this book had a lot of references to Iron Flame but is very uniquely its own fantasy. I loved the character development and all the twists and turns of the story. It is one of my favorites.

I have never been a reader.. kind of always bored me, but this book... let's just say that I couldn't put it down and now own the series.. Can't wait to read the rest!
