Unabridged Audiobook
It started rough narrator wise, and had some repetitive writing. It felt drawn out, and the non-consensual play and sex act was off putting (she says yes, but bc she feels defeated). I finished it, but was disappointed enough that i wont be listening to the second book. Listened at 1.3x
This was so poorly written I was shocked that it had been recommended to me. I was holding out because maybe the smut was good? Turns out that was bad as well with characters that had very stiff, almost non existent chemistry. The narrators were good but I don’t think they could have saved this book.
DON’T DO IT. Constant torture and assault with a forced marriage to her abusers??? No thank you.
It was soo good, I loved her
Both the story and the narration were poorly executed. The only interesting aspect of the story was the title, sadly the writing thereafter didn’t hold up to the expectations. Save yourself the money and/or the credit.
I loved it! My only complaint is that I wish they’d had the characters read their own lines in each chapter. It felt odd having Alexis read the guys voices. When you have the actors - use them!
Unreasonably traumatic. Trauma is added to the story for no reason at all it provides no story line
Very unique storyline and great narrators.
I read it on my Kindle a couple of weeks ago, and then got Audiobooks and got to listen to the book and love the way it was narrated.
The writing was too repetitive and it made it difficult to keep listening. This book would have been better if the author would have added better description of the challenges and added at least some character development.
A bit more profanity than I prefer, but it kept my interest and I liked the story
