Summary:

In a fantasy world as rich and real as our own, Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell stand against the ancient forces which besiege the New World - forces so terrible that when last they threatened, they could only be withstood by sealing off the Old World from whence they came. Now the barrier has been breached, and the New World is again beset by their evil power. War, monsters, and treachery plague the world, and only Richard and Kahlan can save it from an armageddon of unimaginable savagery and destruction. Terry Goodkind, author of the brilliant fantasy bestsellers of the Sword of Truth series, has created his most masterful epic yet, a sumptuous feast of magic and excitement replete with the wonders of his unique fantasy vision.

I loved it!!! This story was even better than the previous ones! I’m getting addicted to it and can’t think about what I’m going to do when I’ve read all of them! The author has a very creative mind and apparently no end to inventing perils and dangerous adventures to the characters!

Enjoyed this narrator much more than the last one. Why do they keep changing them? Are they different for every book? That's not cool. I enjoy this series immensely. Good book good narration.

  • Jonathon Wilson

The blood of the fold was a good book for explaining Richard's powers. You know he's special from the other books but this one really exemplified his uniqueness.

  • Tracey mcelreath

I am really enjoying this series.

  • Elaine Myke

I enjoyed this third book in the series much more than the second book, especially the narration..

  • Thomas Massey

The book is good but the narrator does not pronounce the names right.

  • JK

This is a good book, the third in the series of (currently) ten. If you like this genre, this is a good example (perhaps a little darker than average), but you will probably find yourself reading the whole series ...
