I really enjoyed this book! The story, plot and characters are superb. The narrator was fantastic, bringing the story and characters alive. Thecnext book in series is already in my library.

An exciting story over all with layers of lies and deceit. if you are looking for a story with a happy ending, or even a just ending this is NOT it. in fact the ending in which evil continues its manipulation creeped me out.

As an audiobook, the characters and plot were hard to follow. There were too many characters.

Interesting story but did not relate to the narrator.

This is such a drag.... not only does it move very slowly, but nothing of consequence happens. It feels like one of those amateur hour detective stories where small events and actions are described with decorative language to make things seem more interesting than they are. Unfortunately, I fell into the sunken time fallacy and felt compelled to finish the book only because I had spent so much time. In hindsight, I should have cut my losses and stopped a long time ago. Fair warning to other readers....
