Unabridged Audiobook
A good mystery and interesting characters set in a seaside village - the narrator was able to handle the voices of the many characters in this novel. I recommend listening to this novel - I had some inkling of the who and how of the murders but wasn’t able to solve it before the reveal :)
Interesting and good storyline.
Excellent thank you
Between a 3 and a 4
Really enjoyed this book with its twists and turns. Loved the characters and descriptions of the village. Cant wait to read the next book! The narrator took on all the different characters voices really well.
Kept me interested to the last page.
An intriguing female-led story chock full of strong, woman characters front and center. Incredibly well narrated by Natasha Little with the most beautiful British voice which made me feel classy and elegant just listening to her. The story was full of fascinating characters but I found it easy to keep track of who was who. The story is excellent, the writing brilliant, with depth and nuance and full of subtle British humour. I did suspect the twist pretty early on but unfortunately I have an uncanny ability to do so with practically every book/movie/series etc, however it didn't spoil the intrigue, suspense and pure enjoyment of this novel. I am totally hooked on the Golden Mystery series now and cannot wait to read the next one, Dead Winter Bones. Highly recommended for all crime, mystery, suspense lovers, but particularly so if you find some of them a bit shallow and obvious and are looking for a more clever read.
