Fun. Easy listen.

An enjoyable listen but a little over two thirds in I was getting annoyed with the continued issues the main character got himself in. I considered not listening to the rest of the story but I am glad I did. For the most part it was very entertaining with well defined characters. I feel cutting out an hour of the story line in that particular area would elevate the story.

The story was good, narrator was great, especially with all the voices.

Charming book but didn’t find it particularly funny. Easy-to-digest story that didn’t make me feel like there were ever any real stakes. Narrator was fantastic.

This was a fun and interesting read. The characters have depth the story line had twists and turns it’s very enjoyable I’d recommend :-)

I loved this funny, well-written and clever book. And as a journalist for as long as the author, I can attest that her descriptions of the challenges are believable!

Loved this book - light but intriguing, great characters and a very good narrator. Highly recommend

The narrator was absolutely brilliant, and this story was really amusing. Yes, got a tad annoyed with the main protagonist for not speaking up/making stupid decisions, but, you know it's all going to work out well because the narrator seems so cheery. Absorbing, entertaining listen. Am going to 'follow' both author and narrator to get the next one.

This was an enjoyable listen because of the narration. Some questionable choices by the characters were frustrating, but it's only a story, haha.

I could not count how many times I cringed while listening to this book.

It is a fun listen. The characters are quirky but still believable. Although it is a murder mystery plus a few other mysteries thrown in for goid measure, it is the discovering the back story of the characters that makes this boik great. I would not call this cosy crime. It is more a less bloody midsomer murder. But I can recommend it if you are looking for a light entertaining crime story without layers of cupcake frosting.

Absolutely Brilliant! Characters, story and plot brilliant. The narration was superb. bringing storyvand characters alive. Looking forward to next book.

I LOVED this story! what a great mix of characters, a must read for sure. it was funny, endearing, and plenty of twists as well, keeps you guessing, and cheering for Harry!!!
