I loved the main characters and the story line. There is depth in the characters and heart. The story is an adventure with great twists. Really a wonderful read.

Story was a 7/10, reader about the same. Interesting, but not compelling I didn’t really care about any of the characters, which tells me the development was weak and I could have done without the graphic descriptions of violent acts, felt gratuitous.

I’m not a huge fan of fantasy/magical realism but I was totally entertained by this creative book! I listened to the audio version and the narrator did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend listening to it!

Loved the story, story telling style, and the narrator was amazing! For me, the graphic descriptions of violence were a little too much. It was warranted given the story, but a word of caution if you’re sensitive, enter at your own risk.

I really enjoyed this one - it was definitely a nice and different concept for sure. The narrator made the book even better for me since I drive almost 3 hours per day- so the different voices and tone were neat!

I hope there is a sequel!!

I love the general idea and its a simple book to follow or lusten to if I need a break and I also like the main plot but I wasn't able to connect to the characters - especially the main characters and Cassys character wasn't very deep.

This was a captivating book with excellent narration. I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this book however the first syllable of each sentence was clipped for me, making it a little hard to hear at times.
