This book was entertaining and had its funny moments that made me laugh out loud. The beginning was a little slow for me but as the story went on with the main character it began to flourish. Definitely well written and narrator was entertaining!

Great narrator, wonderful story with just enough cheekiness to spice up a book you would still be proud to share with your grandmother! Great character development too.

Loved the charm of this book. The main character Nina is super sweet and charming. Not to mention the idea of real men in kilts made my morning commute pleasant. The narrators voice can’t be beat!

A unique and refreshing story. I loved the characters and thought the narrator did a great job. I plan to listen to more stories by this author.

Loved the story and I wish I could make the same bold life choice as the lead, Nina (goodbye boring office job, hello dream life). Had a few twists I didn't see coming also!

I enjoyed this story of a woman who reluctantly reinvents herself. She's not a character who spends a lot of time feeling sorry for herself although she does have moments of doubt and worry. But the author spares the reader of having to trudge through a story about a whiny, pitiful Mary Sue. The character is a little bit of a Mary Sue, but it doesn't detract from the love story. There are two love interests and both are very interesting characters. The narrator does a great job and I loved her Scottish accent.
