But her world turns upside down when she learns the identity of her real father: Thomas Concannon.Obeying her late mother’s wishes, Shannon reluctantly travels to County Clare. There, amid the lush landscape steeped in legend, she meets her half sisters and their families, but she’s wary of opening her heart to them—or to their charming neighbor…Murphy Muldoon is a successful farmer and horse breeder with a romantic streak that can turn the most trite sentiment into poetry. I loved this series of books. Nora Roberts keeps you guessing as to how the story will end.

It was a good book and a good conclusion to the series, but it was just very predictable from start to finish.

I really liked this book. the story was well put together, suspenseful with believable and likable characters. I looked forward to listening and in fact enjoyed it a second time. the very best part for me was the wonderful voice of the reader, Fiacre Douglas. The Irish accents of all the family were delightful, but the voice for the main male character was excellent. It would be difficult not to like this character.

This book was my first by Nora Roberts, and I cannot wait to get her other titles. Well written and the person who narrated was well spoken and easy to listen to.
