Unabridged Audiobook
I think it was time for you Nia and I'm so happy to hear of all the success you have gained amidst all the trauma Abby attempted to create. You deserve all the rewards you receive, you have earned it all!
Loved listening to Nia’s authenticity in telling her truth about her life
This book a really good book and I’m happy to hear her side. I had to set it aside at times to regroup mentally and emotionally before continuing. Now I understand why Nia and her mom stayed. I came to the conclusion that Abby didn’t make the cut to be a professional dancer so she projected all of her hurt, anger, and disappointment onto her students while attempting to live vicariously through the girls. However, there is no excuse for her hateful and racist ways toward Nia. She couldn’t crush Nia and she hated that fact!! Again, this is a really good book.
It was great book, I love hearing about Nia experiences on the show and how it shaped her into the wonderful women she is today!
