Summary
Ooops! That grumpy orc I just met? Forget hello. I stripped him naked!

It's an accident, I swear. When I wind up in a fantasy world, I see this gorgeous older guy who's green, and wonder, 'What does he look like everywhere?' I don't realize my new magical healing powers will make it happen!

No regrets. Sturrm's got muscles for days and one seriously impressive pierced package. The med student in me can't wait to study his monstrous differences up close. The growly grump isn't exactly thrilled about his wardrobe malfunction. But no matter how much he scowls, other parts of him clearly like me a lot.

It turns out the big warrior's on a quest to find magical crystals that will protect humans like me from soul-sucking fae. Our enemies will do anything to stop us. Even with dragons on our side, none of this will be easy.

I'm falling fast, especially when Sturrm sings for me, his resonant baritone showing all the emotion he normally hides. But he's haunted by a loss in his past. My new healing powers work great on physical injuries, but how do I heal the wound in his heart?

Contains mature themes.

I loved Stuurm and Selena's story. This is the epitome of grumpy/sassy-sunshine. The author adds a bit more to the overall world and we get to learn a bit more about the dragons. Selena and Taylor are my favourite witches. Selena shows such a depth of emotional intelligence that Stuurm desperately needs. The story delves into the impact past traumas can have on the characters and touches lightly on PTSD. There is such beautiful character development and growth in the building of Selena and Stuurm's relationship. What really made the story extremely enjoyable were the little injections of humour from the main characters and from Dash and Bella. I LOVED Dash's character. Snarky, funny, caring, and just wanting to belong and be loved. The narrators did an excellent job in making each character distinct from the others in voice and inflection. The spicy bits are also always less of fun and bring the heat.

‘Bound to the Orc Guardian’ has the sweetest main male character of this series. The musically blessed Sturmm is a crusty, grumpy, protective, quietly mourning, big, beautiful, Orc. Selena is ripped from her medical training, only to be thrust into a strange world—at this point I have to stop and say I would’ve been thrilled to have stripped Sturmm of his clothes with my mind, too They face a lot of challenges—some pulled at my heartstrings so much for Sturmm, but they find their HEA as only Krista Luna can write it. Perfectly. The narration is on point. Again. I mean, c’mon, Sean Masters just has ‘the’ voice , and Sierra Kline is always awesome. *** Recommended ***

The magic & fantasy vibes here are just the best I loveee Krista Luna’s world building and this series in particularly kills it! I love the strength and undying love the Orcs bring and the witchy human woman are always so strong sassy and intelligent. I was dying to see this MMC get his well deserved overdue happy ever after and FMC fits like a glove for the position. M/F Orc x Witch Grumpy MMC x Sunshine FMC Healthcare field representation
