This is a book to be listened to. The narrators really gave it life and expressed all the nuances in the book. I enjoyed the book immensely. it has everything you want in a great story: friendship loyalty, eternal love, monsters and gods. It's a book to set back in a comfortable chair and just listen. Enjoy!

I DNF because this one just didn’t pull me in like Quicksilver did. There is so much fluff in the form of unnecessary dialogue and one dimensional side characters, in addition to many plot lines that are never resolved. It feels like the author is just stretching out the series for profit. I’m giving it 3 stars because I like the male narrator.

I re-listened to Quicksilver and was glad I did, as this story jumps right into where Quicksilver left off. Great action, high stakes, and several twists. I love Saeris and Kingfisher!

Enjoyed every second of it...I think I am speaking like the Faes now...lol

I found this book to be very hard to get through. The story felt very disjointed. There was no resolution whatsoever in the end. Disappointing.

The over all story was ok. I just had a hard time connecting with the book and staying invested.

callie is killing it in the romantic era. job we'll done, she's continuing to build amazing worlds and realms, along with a beautiful love story. can't wait to re-listen before the third!

A very well-written compelling story with serious twists and turns. Some of it predictable and some not so predictable. A few cheesy lines and depending on your preferences, may have too much love story. Overall it is easy to follow and a fun thrill ride.

I really love a book that has an exceptional plot and love story. Shadow Daddy's are top tier.
