Unabridged Audiobook
A historical novel about Henry VIII. Nothing new. Just a few years ago, I saw a movie with Scarlet Johanson, that depicted the same story. I agree, that the story was hard to follow, and it might have been better to read it myself, than to listen to it. But I was impressed by the narrator, who remembered which voice he gave to all the thousands of characters, and made the whole story much more lively.
Not really my cup of tea, I found it quite hard to stay engaged with it. Definitely not an easy listen if that is what you are looking for however if you are into historical books and know a fair bit about the Tudors, as in who is who, then I think you would enjoy this.
boring wow
Fabulous book, brilliant reading. I do wish they would re-record Wolf Hall with this narrator. The last guy made such a mess of the narration.
