A Bullet, a Kiss, and Forever: A Military Romantic Comedy with Suspense

Marine sniper Nick Lassiter expects a routine coffee run—not an armed robbery, a heroic tackle, and a bullet in his backside fired by Ashleigh Desmond.

Ashleigh is a carpenter, a pastor’s daughter, and an excellent shot under normal circumstances. Horrified by her mistake, she appoints herself Nick’s caretaker. Before long, his chaotic bachelor house has clean sheets, homemade pot pie, and one stubborn woman who refuses to leave until she is certain he will recover.

They could not be more different. Nick lives for his Marine scout-sniper team and avoids permanent attachments. Ashleigh believes in faith, family, and promises meant to last. He already has a girlfriend. She has sworn never to date another Marine.

Their attraction would be complicated enough without the threatening message that appears at Ashleigh’s family home.

As danger from her past closes in and Nick prepares for another mission, their unlikely friendship becomes impossible to dismiss. To protect Ashleigh, Nick must confront more than an unseen enemy. He must decide whether the life he has always accepted is enough—or whether the woman who accidentally shot him is the first person who has ever made him want forever.

Witty, warm, and suspenseful, A Bullet, a Kiss, and Forever is a clean military romance filled with opposites-attract chemistry, protective heroes, found family, faith, danger, and the chaotic brotherhood of an elite Marine team.
