Unabridged Audiobook
This book has the feel of the old time thriller films I watched on TV on Saturday afternoons. In spite of being set in modern times, it has the dramatic turns that were basic to the horror/thriller/mystery stories of decades ago. It’s a nice break from some of the other books I read. I’ll definitely read other books in this series. I really like Pendergast.
This book is several hours too long. It is gory more than archaeology. I finished it because I couldn’t believe it could only get worse. The narrator’s voice was fine but while driving the music and sounds added to it were distracting and I looked around to see if there were traffic accidents. Don’t go here. There are lots of wonderful books in the world.
