Unabridged Audiobook
I listened to the audiobook version of this story. Fawn's story broke my heart. She suffered through so much and did everything in her power to keep Otis safe and to show him love and kindness despite the situation they lived. Zane did everything he could to make their lives more tolerable but it was incredibly frustrating that he just gave into Eddie. I feel like he could've fought him off at some point, especially early on since Eddie was still recovering, but how he treated Fawn made up for it. The steamy scenes were amazing, so deliciously hot. Also, Scythe and his nonsense made my day. I love every time he shows up on one of these stories. The narration by Michelle Sparks, Corvin King, and Sean Masters was brilliant. I loved this combination of voices. All in all, great story but please check the TW.
This is the fourth book in the series and my first time to read this author. I enjoyed all four, they are abit rough in spots due to the subject matter but good reads none the less. I love Troy Duran, he narrates the first two books. It's my first time hearing Corvin King and he did a great job in the last two. I would recommend this series.
