Unabridged Audiobook
Can I just say that I think I smiled the whole time listening to it? It's the story of how his stubb...er um...reluctant acceptance of love of Vicky actually brought him more than he could have expected in life. And it's not the "pie in the sky...break down the walls to the church to go live in the palace in a fairytale world" love. It's the simple, dayum, just shut up and let life and love happen" type of love that most don't even realize they're looking for until they're so deeply involved and happy that they relax and enjoy. In #Cambria, Ken tells how he actually "fell" into love with Vicky, the woman of his dreams that he didn't know he'd dreamed of. They fit from the very beginning...no unnecessary drama...just fell into place and built a life where joy and peace just snuck up on them both. And, that love of each other grew into self-love, self-confidence and for him, the courage to trust that going for his dreams would not include the risk of losing that love in exchange. I love that he felt loved and supported enough to finally take on his dream. And that trust and support has led him to enjoy what he'd known all along was his lot in life. Heartwarming sounds corny, but it just is. #Cambria isn't a wild spectacle. It's a fun, inspiring story of how life...and love can be better than good, if you just go with it. I enjoyed listening to it. Ken did a great job...but, Vicky gets the kudos for a job well done!
