The ones who deserve to live forever will never ask for immortality.

The battle for the soul of the Astrological Order continues as Colter Cain attempts to further develop his abilities as Dovelets’ newest Scorpio practitioner. While he discovers more about himself and works to redeem the reputation of Dark Magic at Dovelets, the Fellowship of Dark Arts continues its siege on all contrasting perspectives.

When disaster strikes international allies, how will Colter and his colleagues lead Dovelets through its most challenging year yet? Will Colter and his peers be able to maintain a youthful outlook on their reality despite the advancements of their enemies? Will Colter be able to expand his cabinet, as so many say he must?

Another year at Dovelets makes one thing certain: though Colter and his immortal cabinet may have all the time in the world to defeat Malachi, the same cannot be said for the Astrological Order. As long as the Fellowship thrives, Colter will not be able to rest.

Join Colter on his continued journey to save the Astrological Order in Cardinal Fire, the second book of Anthony Scott’s The Age of Cain Saga, A Dovelets Story and harrowing sequel to Scorpio Rising.
