I really enjoyed this Pitt outing when I thought I wouldn’t - I was sorry and disappointed (for Emily) that George ended up being the mystery to solve. But the claustrophobic list of just a handful of suspects was handled engagingly and kept me super interested. Perry not only made each a very likely suspect (in the characters’ eyes) but she made each one seem impossible to us as the likely suspect. This is a treat of a “parlor room” murder mystery. Davina Porter as narrator will be a hard act for any future narrator to follow. She is simply phenomenal at making the atmosphere and characters come to life.
