I really enjoyed this book. The story and the build up to the conclusion needs time to develop. It's a story that is well worth the listeners time. The "narrator' is much more than that - it is a fine piece of vocal acting with each character given a unique identify. Overall I'm happy I took the time to spend some time in the company of senior special agent Travis.

very detailed descriptions, but I thinķ overall this brought the characters to life and made them more interesting. Good storyline, eventhough it hopoed from the present to various different times in the past it was easy to follow andmade þhe characters more interesting

Slightly boring. Xfiles meets the X Men meets any introspective story in which the narrator had a sad childhoid meets conspiracy theories. And yet, it managed to bore me. It could have been a lot shorter and packing a lot more punch. You can guess the ending almost from the start. The plot advances super slowly. I won't read it again. Ideal for long comutes.
