Cascade Smith: The Making of a Sp

The thrilling sequel to The Excalibur File is an electrifying tale of a woman, a war, and a love affair. Named after her father’s favourite beer, Cascade Smith’s beauty shapes her life from the start. Growing up as the quintessential 'all-Australian girl,' she excels in school, university, first love, and sports, seemingly set for a perfect 'happily ever after.'

But fate has other plans. In 2024, Cascade suffers the tragic loss of her soulmate. That same year, China begins a campaign of territorial expansion throughout the South Pacific. America’s NSA uncovers the PLA's ‘Oceania Gold’ plan – a blueprint for invading northern Australia on Christmas Day, 2030.

Cascade is recruited into Wedgetail, Australia’s covert black ops group, tasked with countering China’s MSS agents who aim to destabilize the defence effort. As she and her team confront the MSS, Australia, with its US ally, prepares for the greatest naval battle since World War II – a battle Australia seems doomed to lose. Or can it?

For fans of James Bond, Tom Clancy, and Daniel Silva, this high-stakes adventure promises suspense, action, and intrigue.
