4 3 4I really enjoyed this story so much. I loved Rochelle and Hunter. They may be young but their background makes them so mature and gives the story depth. I really liked the instant love between them, it felt natural and perfect for there circumstances. They fall fast and hard with Hunter becoming the ultimate protective and possessive green flag over Rochelle. I really loved there connection and chemistry. Rochelle goes through so much growth throughout this story, it shows just how strong she really is. Hunter was her unwavering support. There are some twist and turns that kept me on my toes. I cant wait to continue this series. This audiobook is performed in duet narration by Lee Daniel's and Joe Arden. They both did a beautiful job of bringing the emotions of the characters and their story to life. I really was captivated by Lee Daniel's voice and performance, she become Rochelle and she pulled at my heartstrings. Joe was great I always enjoy his ability to convey emotions. They made this story stand out.

Love at first sight, extraordinary circumstances, strong feelings, family, you name it, Evelyn Montgomery has woven a story with twists and turns that I didn't see coming and feelings that are so strong, I couldn't stop listening! This is my first book by her, and it definitely will not be my last. Hunter meets Rochelle after losing a bet where he had to get his haircut. New to her craft, she was nervous, but his smile was winning her over. She knew he was interested, but with her life, she just does not have the time for a relationship. But Hunter doesn't let her go that easy. And the chase begins. Hunter is a great character While he seems all put together, there are things he hides and the emotions he invokes are strong! Rochelle has her hands full, and Hunter seems to help make it feel less. I loved this story, the surprises are incredible and the story amazing. Lee Daniels and Joe Arden are a perfectly cast for this story. Daniels is the insecure, inexperienced woman and with her voice aids in her transformation under the love of Hunter. Arden is Hunter, and his emotional journey comes through, wrenching and warming my heart. These two are fabulous together and created an enjoyable listen.

Lee Daniels and Joe Arden team up once again and give the listeners sheer excellence. Both were tasked with multiple characters to cover and I have to say my favorite side character Lee does is Rochelle's mother....she sounded perfect. As for Rochelle's character she manages to sneak in just the right amount of southern twang at certain times and she is one of those narrators that has the innocent tone to their voice. Joe has not only Hunter and other male characters but he also has to voice a 10 year old Hunter and my goodness...his talent shines in those moments that will have you stopping and just simply listening in amazement. His Hunter voice is a perfect mixture of mature and yet young at the same time. Evelyn Montgomery has a knack for writing in a way that you cannot put the book down. The way the relationship between Hunter and Rochelle grew was one of the sweetest. He is a patient man, a selfless man, a devoted man. Hunter helps Rochelle find her inner strength and I loved seeing her transform and stand her ground as the story progressed. They are one of those insatiable couples that will live out their lives extremely consumed by each other and I loved it.

Catch by Evelyn Montgomery is a college sports romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lee Daniels and Joe Arden. This is the first book in the Destined Hearts series. This is the third book of Evelyn's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the instant connection between Hunter and Rochelle. They had a lot thrown at them to test their connection. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series Indecision so I can get Noah and Eva’s story. Joe and Lee did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to make you feel every emotion the character is feeling in that moment. I would recommend this book if you’re looking for a sports romance, college romance, or contemporary romance.

Power of Love So much drama. So much heat. So many secrets. I love the instant connection between Hunter (Catch) Alexander and Rochelle (Roshie, Angel) Thomas. The heat that accompanies is scorching. I love how protective he is. It adds to my appreciation of him. Rochelle is a bit naïve despite all the upheaval in her life, but she's likable. The family drama is a hot mess of crazy. It's outlandish yet partially believable. It undoubtedly makes things interesting. I like the general writing style. This is my first book of hers, but I suspect it won't be my last. I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Joe Arden and Lee Daniels, are wonderful in duet. ? Story: 4 stars Narration: 4.5 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x

Hunter falls first and HARD, while Rochelle slowly lets down her walls and learns to trust someone despite the huge differences in their worlds. Joe Arden absolutely nailed Hunter’s cocky athlete energy while also delivering some seriously emotional moments during the flashbacks to his childhood trauma. Lee Daniels was the perfect Rochelle. Her soft southern accent and gentle narration style suited Rochelle’s quiet personality beautifully. For a shorter book, this one wasted no time turning up the heat and the chemistry between these two moved very quickly from sweet to seriously spicy I’m definitely keen to continue the Destined Hearts duet with Indecision next.

Holy ****… what a performance. The duet narration by Joe Arden and Lee Daniels felt incredibly immersive. The way they performed this story made everything feel so vivid and cinematic that I completely lost myself in it. I could just lean back, close my eyes, and disappear into the story. Absolutely phenomenal. That being said… this book had my anxiety levels SPIKING. I definitely would not recommend this during exam weeks if you need something soft and comforting. This story had me stressed, emotional, nervous, and completely invested. But wow… the story itself? So good. [potential spoilers removed] This honestly felt like a movie while listening to it. The kind of story you completely sink into for a few hours just to forget the world for a little while and believe everything might turn out okay in the end. And the narration elevated every single emotional moment. The tension, the heartbreak, the longing, the frustration… all of it felt incredibly real. Their instant connection draws you in, and it’s a pleasure to follow their journey as their relationship deepens. Lee Daniels and Joe Arden deliver a strong performance, bringing this story to life. I'm looking forward to more in the series.

I have no choice but to give this 5 stars. I truly enjoyed the story. I like ROCHELLE and HUNTERs characters. I also can say that I didn't see everything that happened coming. I like both FMC and MMC voices for the audio they really help me dive and made me envision they story even better.

First off this cover is beyond GORGEOUS!!! Second, this is the first book I have listened to by Evelyn and I loved everything about his book. I can't wait to see what the rest of her books are like. This is an insta-love story that will take you on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride! These two are from different sides of the tracks but have both know what it's like to go through hard experiences. This was a Duet narration done by Lee Daniels and Joe Arden! I loved listening to these two tell this story. Their voices will keep you entertained and hold your attention through the entire book! Rochelle grew up taking care of her homebound mother and being told by others she was white trash. But this woman is remarkable! When She meets Hunter she knows she's out of his league but he will not let her go! These two were meant for each other and Hunter will do everything in his power to make sure he always has his Angel! I loved getting to know these characters. This story was so entertaining and there were twists I didn't see coming. I was swooning, smiling, emotional, mad at times, but in the end I was left with a wonderful ending! I HIGHLY recommend this book!

This was an amazing audio to listen to. Lee Daniels and Joe Arden delivered a stellar performance. They were perfectly suited for the characters in this book. I loved how they were able to effortlessly switch between the characters that they were voicing. And these narrators really know how to draw you in and make you feel all the emotions that are happening as the story is unfolding and coming together. The narrative was so good. I liked the characters and I was surprised by the turn of events towards the end, how everything fell into place. Overall, this was a very satisfying listen that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love Hunter and Rochelle's story! Love at first sight with two people from completely different backgrounds. Building trust and learning truths they gave a love story with true testament of destiny aligning!!! Joe Arden and Lee Daniels were Hunter and Rochelle!!!

I just finished this audiobook and it was a great read. Performed in duet by Joe Arden and Lee Daniels. They definitely brought the story to life! He’s a college baseball player and she’s from the wrong side of the tracks. He comes from money and she doesn’t. This story is a tad insta-lovey which is not my fav but the story is done well. Past trauma and parental loss and a big secret that actually caught me off guard, so I’m here for that. I would definitely recommend this book and I will be confusing the series.

Catch is a beautiful baseball romance featuring Rochelle and Hunter. They meet when Hunter comes to the salon for a haircut. Hunter is immediately entranced by her, but she is skeptical due to her past. Can he convince her they are meant to be? The duet narration by Lee Daniels and Joe Arden was phenomenal. Lee Daniels was magnificent as sweet, shy, naive, inexperienced Rochelle. All of her hurt, fear, sadness, vulnerability, caring nature, lust, passion and love were all clearly evident in her voice. Joe Arden was superb as charming, determined, obsessive, possessive Hunter. His deep, growly voice was divine. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook. Yall this book is so much more than a romance. It threw me for a loop. I started the book and wasn’t drawn in right away, but boy oh boy was I wrong. This book put me in a choke hold. Some twist and turns I wasn’t expecting. The audio was so good. It is a duet and the voice actors were perfect. It made the story that much more emotional and gripping.

Joe and Lee’s narration created a performance that gave this Cinderella style retelling flare and heartfelt emotion and a suspenseful element with a plot twist that kicked. I enjoyed the small town, baseball, opposite side of the tracks, cinnamon roll MMC. The mystery side plot about Rochelle’s identity and her significance to Hunter that continued throughout the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and will continue with the series’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Catch was such a fun and addicting sports romance read. I was completely pulled in by the chemistry, the tension, and all the emotional moments mixed in with the romance. This one had me smiling so much while reading. The connection between the characters felt natural and easy to root for, and I loved how their relationship developed throughout the story. The banter was cute, the spicy moments delivered, and the emotional scenes hit exactly when they needed to. And can we talk about the audiobook for a second because Joe Arden absolutely made this experience even better for me. LOVE ME SOME Joe Arden. His narration added so much charm and emotion to the story and honestly had me even more invested in every single scene. This book was sweet, emotional, entertaining, and exactly the kind of sports romance I love picking up when I want something fun with heart.
