Unabridged Audiobook
My least favorite from Meghan Quinn. Cute story, annoying FMC (too granola for me to tolerate), but very realistic MMC. It just took soooo long to get to where the story was headed. Once conflict was introduced, it felt rushed and then it was over.
The characters were both meh. Both had good in them but both had a lot of toxic traits they both need to work though. The girl was a big rough around the edges and just did things without asking and even if my BFF did this shit I would get annoyed. The male was stereotypical in my opinion very believable. this was not my fav M. Quinn book at all. I am disappointed that the author didn't explore therapy for either, but also men in therapy is not the norm even now a days but i feel like the more we make it the case that maybe one day it will happen. The book wasn't terrible but it was not great. cute story I guess but I would not read or audiobook this again.
I liked it
This was a good audio book. My only dislike was the voice actors who played their characters POV didn’t play in the others POV. Like Kingsley’s voice actress should have voiced her through the entire book and same goes for Maddox. It would have made the book more enjoyable and consistent. That’s all I would have changed other than that the book was great.
