Unabridged Audiobook
The ultimate guide to any subject could never be under just over an hour long in reading time. I took that into account when I bought this e-book, and am not too surprised that the content is shallow. Still, I was hoping for more concrete covering of the subject. At some point chakras are discussed, at which point I was actually happy to have almost finished listening. I doubt this will be 'the ultimate guide' to charisma for you unless you currently have the charisma of a cartonbox, but there are some good pointers in there so I'd give it a 2/5 stars for that. As for the narration: I've criticized narrators for doing Hollywood accents when narrating serious history books by Anthony Beevor, but Matt Montanez has set a new low me. If this guy is a narrator, so am I. And he couldn't even be bothered to do a basic quality check it seems.. mispronuciation of basic english words. Emphasis on the wrong words and sentences cut in half. Read too quickly on summarizing parts, and with an overall feel of listening to a 1 hour 16 minute infomercial.
