Charlie Hardears: Book 1: Superdome

Charlie Wilkes is a typical Bajan 13 year old who is so well known in his district of Guttaperk Avenue for being mischievous that everyone calls him “Charlie Hardears”. He has simple instructions from his mother every afternoon – but does he follow them? Never!

Evening plans to play football outside with his best friend Paul before his mother gets home are ruined by a downpour after school – or are they? Charlie Hardears always has a plan!

Charlie challenges Paul to have their “World Cup rematch” – Argentina vs England – in “Charlie’s Superdome”, right in his mother’s living room! And mom is on the way home! This cannot go well…
