Child's Bible History

Originally published in 1882 in German by Bishop Frederick Justus Knecht, author of A Practical Commentary on Holy Scripture (also available from TAN), the Child's Bible History is a classic of children's scriptural catechism. Ideal for students in elementary school, this Bible history goes through each of the books of the Old and New Testament in a way suitable for young children in early grade school.

Nothing is more important for a child than catechism, and hardly anything is more useful to that end than a knowledge of the Scriptures. A favorite of catechists everywhere for this noble purpose, the Child's Bible History belongs in every Catholic grade school and home learning environment. This text is particularly suited to students enrolled in TAN Academy in elementary grades.
