Unabridged Audiobook
The plot is only ever a very weak vessel to transport delightfully drawn characters, that are so consistent and well observed. The plot, such as it is, is a transparent inconvenience. I would like to see Boland create them in a different scenario and forgo the more obvious detection element. If circumstances were such, for instance, that they were required to temporarily share living arrangements. The point being, the characters are wonderful, the plot, less so. The narrator does a good job, if one can ignore the loud inhalations.
Another cozy adventure with the Charity Shop Detective Agency!
