Unabridged Audiobook
Citizen 865 was more than a well-researched history, it also had all the elements of a great detective story as the Office of Special Investigations sought to prove connection of American citizens to atrocities committed in Poland during World War Two. Coupled with a narrative of survivors, the book succeeded in bringing to life a not often-visited corner of the Holocaust, Trawniki Camp, and the role of the Ukrainian collaborators enlisted by the Germans. Well worth the time invested.
