When young painter Pearl Buckley accepts the role as a patron artist for the de la Vasco’s estate in the deep South during the early 1920s, she will have to overcome the fear of failure and flow with the oddities of this wealthy family, whose deadly secrets make it harder and harder to stay afloat, otherwise her dreams and life could be at stake.
