A wonderfully written MM novel wirh an ingenious premise. the main characters are well "fleshed out" and thoroughly likeable. Their having to deal with the contemporary morės of the period adds to the tension and builds the reader's admiration for their predicament.The author has a knack for both humor and details of intimate ingeractions that enrich the reading experience.The narrator is superb.

Love the mystery aspect and the romance was lovely. I definitely would have loved to see the author use Joel’s abilities more but that’s just me. The look into police corruption was done tastefully and realistically. Definitely would recommend for anyone who’s interested is piqued by the summary <3

Excellently written, this book develops an interesting and compelling relationship between two unlikely characters and crafts an engaging and realistic romance. I love reading KJ Charles, and I cannot recommend her work enough. It's like free therapy, great smut, AND fantastic drama all at the same time. It has it all! Only complaint would be that I wanted more!

After a rather tedious 60 percent, about a copper not believing in graphology and for some reason wanting to tell this to a graphologist for days without end, it suddenly turns into an unimaginative, predictable corruption story. Also, I think KJC should have made a decision if she wanted a paranormal element or realistc explanations, and not these vague hints that confuse readers.
