I've read this book at least twice before, but this narrator really has a way of embodying the characters. I could always tell who she was portraying whether it be a male or female. She is just awesome!
This will always be one of my favorite series. I love the characters with a passion. Sarah J. Maas really paints a picture and creates the most amazing worlds.
This series is one of my favorites! And this is the second time listening to the audio book though with a different t narrator who was lovely. Highly recommend if you like the enemies to lovers trope, there was only one bed trope, or bamf female characters trope.
Very good book
I love this series of books & how it all ties together!
Riveting! Great descriptions of locations and characters
Absolutely gripping and tummy turning in the best way, Ikeda’s narration is perfect!
Kept me on edge and completely had me invested in the story!
Iyhink this book is good enough to buy
love this series and the twists
Overall, it's a good story. I wish the writer would have sprinkled more of the ending of the story throughout the book instead of all at the end. At times, it was a bit slow and hard to stay focused on.
Excellent book and the narration was perfect. I would definitely recommend.
Sarah J Mass is so good and these are absolutely not teen books.
Superb book, excellent narrator. I truly enjoyed these series. I am hooked. Great job. Next book please
I was expecting the story, writing, character development, and world building to get better after the first book. It has not gotten better. I'm not going to bother finishing the book.
This isn’t my genre…at all…so I was surprised to become fully engaged and enjoying this story!
With that said, the protagonist was an irritating, entitled, over blown character with juvenile emotions and behaviors and that irritated me incessantly. And yet, through all that, I enjoyed the story!
I read the first one and usually love reading the physical copy, but I really enjoyed listening to this audio version. The story itself was better than ACOTAR. Already have the third book lined up to listen to!
The first book was enertaining but this one had so many twists and turns and seemed to go nowhere, I just had to hang on to finish it, but it didm't really finish. 23 Hours is a long time to listen and the though the narrator's voice was really good, even that became too much in the end. I'll give the next book in the series a miss.
This book is even better than the first one! Feyre turns into a more independent character and the romance gets more steamy. The narration of the book is phenomenal!
Initially I did not much enjoy the story, but as I persevered through the first few chapters it really grew on me. An now I cannot wait to read the sequal.
I really enjoyed the book. I also loved the narrator for this book, it was a great audio book.
the narrators tone is very airy, whimsical & floaty. melancholic & sing songy. lots of vocal fry for the guys voice. places the emphasis on a different syllable like research as rihSEARCH. maybe others enjoy it but it really grated on my nerves for some reason. story is a bit slow if u like beauty n the beast stockholm vibes
Favorite book ever
I'm absolutely obsessed with this series, such a different story, really connected with the characters
I had downloaded this book by accident and, at first, was not able to get into it at all. I realized that I had to download the first book to make any sense of it and ended up getting so interested that I ended up going on to the next book as well!
Jennifer Ikeda did a great job with these voices.
Great narration and even better story
very good reading just like the 1st book
Love , love Loved it!!!
Sexy, Dark ,lovely.
I shed a few tears on the second last chapter.
I really like this series. Some pieces are predictable but others parts have me guessing about what will happen next. I do like the narrator a lot as well.
Loved it! Pulled the whole story together and explained the back story of a lot of the characters. Ready for the action now!
Okay the second book is 10X better than the first!!! OMG. I Absolutly loved this one and actually finished it with a grin on my face.
Love the book series and Jennifer Ikeda is one of my favorite narrators!
Great series, great narration. Will happily listen to this series again! Loved it!
Romantic Story as from Rosamunde Pilcher disguised as a fantasy.
I enjoyed this story very much and the narrator did a wonderful job.
Loved everything by this author. This world was very interesting. The different courts were fun to think about and imagine.
I don't dislike the first book of this series but I found this one way better. Love the character development and the heavier focus on family and friendship relationship instead of romantic relationships, of course there still is romance.
Both story and narrator are amazing. Have read this series before but I could listen to it again and again
great time with my selection of book
Excellent! One of my favourite books in the series!
I loved the theme and growth of Fayre in this book! Sarah J. Maas took on some tough subjects like depression and abuse (emotional, sexual and physical) and executed in a way that was comforting, connecting and healing at least for me personally. She also grows Fayre into so much stronger of a character and a woman who finds comfort, confidence, beauty and a sense of true (and still developing) self in her own skin. While the first book in the series felt like it lacked some of this substance (IMO), this second book took on some tough subjects and left me personally feeling empowered, strong and capable.
Also Jennifer Ikeda is an amazing narrator! I’m disappointed to see that she won’t be narrating the next books in the series!
enjoy the series very much. its good all the way around.
Enjoyed the series very much. A fantastical reprieve from the daily grind.
