The worldbuilding is super interesting, but the "romance" is poorly fleshed-out and feels forced. The characters are individually compelling, but their relationship is based mostly on both of them being horny and attractive.I think this could be a really excellent story if the MCs were less driven by sex and spent more time together. The amount of lead-up to the characters meeting is better suited to a longer story, whereas their subsequent interactions are more akin to a sexy one-shot. It's trying to be two different things and ends up being neither.

A half decent short story although the ending was disappointingly abrubt

It took me a little to get used to the narrator, couldn't understand some parts of it.

This is not a story, not a plot. At most, It’s a cringy first draft. And how can an hour-long story have so much lust?? By chapter 7 I started listening at a speed of 1.7x and even that want enough I just started skipping. Narrator is mostly monotone.
