The Crooked Tree Prophecy: An Irish paranormal fantasy of holy light, hidden bloodlines, and a reluctant young woman chosen to battle the dark.

When Claire Daly follows her grandmother to an ancient holy well in rural Ireland, she expects another boring errand—not a burst of divine light from her fingertips that slices through the village’s sacred tree. Overnight, Claire’s ordinary summer becomes impossible to explain: foreign languages suddenly make sense, an invisible force stops a speeding lorry, and a mysterious stranger keeps appearing wherever danger gathers.

Her mother and grandmother finally reveal the truth. Claire is an Illuminata, one of a hidden line of Lightbringers called to protect souls from the darkness. Claire wants no part of prophecy, demons, angels, or secret wars. She wants books, college, and a normal life. But when a brutal attack in the bookshop proves that something unholy is hunting her, denial is no longer safe.

Drawn from Ballyvaughn to a remote convent and into the terrifying Plane of Lost Souls, Claire must learn what her light can do before evil reaches everyone she loves. Witty, atmospheric, and charged with Irish folklore and spiritual suspense, The Crooked Tree Prophecy is a supernatural coming-of-age story about destiny, sacrifice, and the courage to become what heaven has already seen.
