Unabridged Audiobook
This was a touching, heartwarming book about an evolving relationship between a father and his daughter. I enjoyed the relationship among the fathers, as well. It felt real and was written with a light, realistic touch. I will just say that early on in the book there was a throw-away line about Chick Fil A. I just about stopped reading and removed the book from my list. But alas, I paid for it and didn’t have another book waiting in the wings, so I soldiered on. I am simply exhausted by the name-calling and sweeping denigration of others. Writers have been published because they have a way with words - I just wish some would choose them more kindly. I would have regretted it if I didn’t finish the book because it truly was worth reading. But the disappointment over one line never really left me. By the way…the narrator was wonderful!
