Unabridged Audiobook
An author of whom I had heard as a student in the early 60's but had never read. He was considered to be sharply sarcastic of society and irreverently critical of the general American society and its norms in the first third of the 20th Century. Though his observations are dated and not immediately relevant, his ability to see through the hypocrisy of his times comes through in his writing. The narrator begins "wooden", but he seems to glide into the role and becomes more at ease with his role.
