Unabridged Audiobook
As a family member of an ALS patient the book gave details of the effects of the disease on the patient and caregiver. This is our situation and it was very enlightening to know the experiences were very much like ours. I as a caregiver no longer felt alone, knowing that other patients had the same experiences. I better understood why the patient behaved as he does, and am better able to act and feel accordingly. My only negative comment is that the text seemed to wander off course from the experiences some times. I just wanted the facts and not musings. But these passages were rare! Overall a great and useful read for anyone dealing with ALS, especially caregivers and loved ones..
