Daniel O’Rourke’s Wonderful Voyage to the Moon is a 19th century Irish chapbook (a cheaply printed, paper-covered booklet popular from the 16th to 19th centuries that often featured folk tales, ballads, religious tracts, and practical advice, making literature accessible to people who couldn’t afford bound books) blending folk tale, adventure, and supernatural elements, told in the voice of an old man recounting the misadventures of a man named Billy MacDaniel.
